Obscura BTV, the City of Burlington, Vermont’s official Total Solar Eclipse celebration is coming April 8!
On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross over North America, and Burlington is lucky to be in the direct path of totality! The City of Burlington has SO much in store for this once-in-a-lifetime event to welcome visitors to our wonderful city and to delight and prepare locals for this stellar experience. There will be events at the waterfront, downtown, and all throughout the city, with community venues and organizations programming their own events in addition to direct Obscura programming.
The partial eclipse begins at 2:14 pm and the total eclipse begins at 3:26 pm, lasting a glorious three minutes. The partial eclipse ends at 4:37 pm.
