There’s no better place to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Vermont than at Highlight, Burlington’s official NYE party. Burlington City Arts continues Highlight’s burgeoning tradition of bringing local innovators, artists, and communities together to celebrate the homegrown creative energy of Vermonters. This year’s Highlight is an “Invocation of BTV Brightness,” featuring some of the Green Mountain State’s best and most unique performers and artists on stages across Burlington’s downtown and waterfront areas.

Celebrate the New Year knowing that your support for Highlight supports local artists and artisans directly. Over the last four years, BCA has paid over $238,000 to Vermont creators through Highlight. This year, we’re welcoming revelers from far and wide to experience dozens of unique performances, installations, pop-up restaurants, and otherworldly events, many of which have been programmed through the Bright Ideas Project. Powered by VSECU, the Bright Ideas Project asks for Vermonters from all corners of the state to submit creative projects for Highlight to fund and then present on New Year’s Eve.
