The Four Sidewinders (aka Bessette Quartet) began in 2012 when sax player Eric Bessette asked bluegrass guitarist Doug Perkins to try his hand at jazz. With the funky and versatile rhythm section of Nick Aloi and Glendon Ingalls, the band plays originals and puts their own spin on a wide range of covers including jazz, blues, funk and even some bluegrass.
