PREVIEW

Peter Bradley has not sold many paintings or had a major show in over four decades, yet he still paints every day in his shipping-container studio heated by a wood stove, no matter the weather. A black artist with an undying commitment to color field painting, Bradley narrates his life in a series of unscripted conversations, often provocative and always full of surprises. Adopted as a child and brought up in a jazz filled household, music is inextricably linked to his creative process. Painting to music, Bradley sees sound as color and translates this sensation into his work. He beautifully explores innovative and physically engaging methods of applying paint to canvas, inspired by nature and the colorful flowers he tends daily in his gardens. The world is now taking notice.
