Summer Art Camps at BCA Studios

Join us this summer at the BCA Studios and work closely with professional teaching artists for a week.  Every camp includes in-depth studio arts experience, high-quality art materials and a final celebration.  Come for a half-day or pair a morning and afternoon camp together to make a full-day experience. A supervised lunch break is provided from 11-noon for campers staying all day. Join our Aftercare Art Club from 3-5 p.m. for an extended camp experience, which features sketchbook time, visits to Pine Street hot spots and other artful and edible activities.  More time to explore and make!

Teaching Assistant Positions (age 16+)
Do you like working with children?  Are you interested in gaining some hands-on experience in an arts classroom?  BCA’s summer camp program relies on volunteer TA's throughout the summer.  TA's assist instructors in the classroom, help monitor and play with campers during lunch coverage and meet and greet parents during final exhibitions.  TA's are scheduled on a weekly basis and work with a specific teaching artist for mornings, afternoons or all day.  Please contact Melissa Steady, Education Director at 802-865-7524 or for more information.
Partial and full scholarships for classes and camps are available through the generosity of local businesses and donors.  Click here to fill out our scholarship form.

Summer Art Institutes for ages 15-18
Passionate about photography, jewelry or pottery? Inspired by drawing, painting and printmaking?  Immerse yourself in a full-day art institute for a week!  Our Summer Art Institutes are specifically designed for middle and high school students with a passion for art. Working closely with a specialized teaching artist, students will learn a variety of techniques in the medium of their choice and will be encouraged to experiment and take creative risks. In our professional art studios, students will learn to use the darkroom, digital lab, painting studio, printing press and much more. Individual projects will be based on students’ interests.
