Jake Davidson is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY and Ramallah, PL. His films, objects, and situations unravel necropolitical and technocratic realities. During his residency Davidson is editing a film shot in Palestine related to Guibert’s theory of the Ghost Image. He’s exhibited at Anthology Film Archives (2012), Family Business (2012), Higher Pictures (2012), Recess Project Space (2012) and Terminal Projects (2013) in New York, as well as the Athens Video Art Festival (2013) in Greece and the Bergen Center for Electronic Arts (2014) in Norway. He’s the recipient of the Oslo Grant and a former resident of the European Exchange Academy in Berlin. He holds a BFA from CalArts and an MFA from the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts, Bard College.
