In Conversation: "Outstanding" Self-Taught Artists

Join us for a lively conversation with several artists featured in BCA’s Outstanding: Contemporary Self-Taught Art. Artists will share insights on their artwork, discuss the term “self-taught” and its implications when working independently of academic traditions or art market. Artists include Chip Haggerty, Liza Phillip, and Kalin Thomas. Moderated by BCA’s Curator and Director of Exhibitions, Heather Ferrell.
