Darkroom & Digital Lab

The Burlington City Arts Community Darkroom and Digital Lab are located at BCA Studios at 405 Pine St in Burlington. 



Our new Darkroom offers black and white film and print processing for 35mm, medium and large format negatives. There is an archival wash system, a heat press, lockers and a mat cutteravailable for darkroom members. All of our photo chemicals are now from the low-toxicity, eco-friendly EcoPro line. 


The darkroom will be hosting New Member Orientations by appointment only on the following dates:


Friday, July 7, 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Monday, July 10, 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Summer Session Lab Hours for Darkroom Members:

July 10-August 19, 2017

Monday, 3-9 p.m.

Thursday, 5-9 p.m.

Saturday, 1-5 p.m.

All lab hours have a knowledgable Lab Monitor on site to assist with chemical setup and questions. 


Digital Lab

Our new Digital Lab offers a fully color-calibrated workspace with 6 iMac workstations with Adobe Creative Cloud software, Epson V700 film scanners, and 3 large format Epson printers with archival printing capacity up to 44 inches. This facility will be available for rental by community members in the Fall of 2017. Check back soon for more information.
