BCA EDUCATION IS ON THE MOVE!

BCA’s education studios, classes, and camps will be relocating to 405 Pine Street!  Our new facility is currently under renovation and we are hoping to be up and running as soon as we can in June/July 2017.  The BCA Center on Church Street will remain exhibition space and gallery education programs. www.bca405campaign.org/#inspire

Burlington City Arts’ education program features high quality classes, drop-in classes, workshops and youth summer camps in all mediums for every age and ability. Our staff of teaching artists are highly skilled and will lead you through the art-making process in one of our professional art studios.

Our Winter 2017 Classes open for registration on Monday, December 5. See our slate of classes by age linked below.

ADULT CLASSES

Oil Painting, Contemporary Figure Painting, Watercolor, Graphic Novel, Black and White Darkroom Photography, Mixed Level Darkroom Photography, Digital SLR Camera, Adobe Lightroom, Glaze Chemistry (lecture), Live Stream Workshop with Didem Mert, Kiln Basics (lecture), Pottery Decals, Linocut. Classes all will take place at the BCA Center at 135 Church Street due to our move from Memorial Auditorium at the end of 2016.

YOUTH CLASSES

Our youth classes are on a break while we move from Memorial Auditorium to 405 Pine Street (Spring 2017).

Scholarships (Partial and Full)

Discounts
BCA members receive 10% off class registration fees (as noted with class descriptions). Become a member today and save 10%! Once you select a class, you can add a membership to your cart as well.

Refunds
Refunds can only be given if the request is made at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the class. An administration fee of 15% of the class price is non-refundable. After the two week window, a class credit will be processed at the discretion of the Education Director. Class credits are non-refundable.

Class Locations
The BCA Center is located in downtown Burlington at 135 Church Street and houses contemporary art galleries, the Community Darkroom, Digital Media Lab and Visual Arts Studio.

The Print and Clay Studio is located at 250 Main Street, Memorial Auditorium in downtown Burlington. Call 802.865.7166 for specific directions to any of our class locations.

Payment
Full payment is required to secure your space in classes. We accept Visa, MasterCard, cash and checks. Please register at least one week before classes begin to ensure your place. Students will be notified if a class is to be canceled due to low registration at least a week in advance and will be refunded in full.
