Burlington City Arts

By now you have heard–Burlington’s beloved Memorial Auditorium is closing to all use by the end of 2016. This historic building, built in the late 1920s, has been the long-time home of BCA’s Clay, Print, and Jewelry Studios and our administrative education office for decades. We are seizing this opportunity to enrich and expand our community arts spaces by bringing all our studios and education staff together at our new arts education space at 405 Pine Street. BCA's Clay, Print, Jewelry, Digital Photography, and Darkroom Studios will all finally be under one roof!

We have launched the BCA 405 Campaign. A way for donors to invest not only in new arts space, but to ensure that these beloved spaces for learning and creativity lose no time serving the community in the new year.

405 Pine.

A building with big potential for the future of BCA.

The building specs will include:

  • 7,500 square feet of studio space
  • A dramatic increase in physical accessibility for visitors of all abilities
  • Much more parking
  • Combine all studio and education staff under one roof.
  • Direct access to public transportation from CCTV bus services, Pine Street bike lanes, and ample parking
  • State-of-the-art studios, including best practices in studio ventilation systems
