Xavier Donnelly was born in 1992 in New York, New York and grew up in Burlington, Vermont. He studied Sculpture and Printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design, earning a BFA with honors in 2014. Xavier also studied at the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague, Czech Republic. His awards include the Congressional Arts Award, the Alfred T. Granger Award, the Vermont Alliance for Arts Education Scholarship, Scholastic Art and Writing National Portfolio Gold Award, the Jeanne Stah lWebber Award in Sculpture, and most recently the Winston Art Scholarship from the National Society of Arts and Letters. Xavier has exhibited widely including at the West Branch Gallery in Stowe Vermont, Seattle Museum of Art,Fort Wayne Museum of Art, and most recently at David Zwirner in NYC. He is currently living in Beirut, Lebanon where he is working on a series of large scale drawings and interning at Beirut Arts Center.
