Burlington City Arts Announces New Communication Director

Burlington, VT: (June 13, 2016): Burlington City Arts is pleased to announce newly hired Communications Director, Llu Mulvaney-Stanak. Beginning on June 27, Llu will be responsible for creating and implementing the strategic communication vision and strategy for Burlington City Arts. Llu will work closely with all staff members to reinforce and strengthen the brand of Burlington City Arts through media and public relations and by managing marketing strategies.
“We are delighted that Llu Mulvaney-Stanak has accepted the position,” says BCA Executive Director, Doreen Kraft. “Llu’s skillset, experience, and instincts for communications in Burlington will be a great asset to moving this organization forward at a critical time in our history. We feel very fortunate to have made such a strong hire.”
Llu is a community organizer who has built a non-profit career by leveraging digital media and traditional communication tools to inspire and involve Vermonters in a wide range of causes and initiatives. A life-long Vermonter, Llu is a native of Barre City, a proud graduate of Castleton University and the University of Vermont, a long-time resident of Burlington and recent homeowner in the New North End. Llu has worked in the public and private sectors including as Director of Outright Vermont, Assistant Director of Leadership and Civic Engagement at UVM, podcaster and contributor for Seven Days, on-air DJ for 99.9 the Buzz, and, most recently, Development & Outreach Manager at Vermont Community Access Media.
